Not that it’s really a novelty, but they clearly have the wind in motion. Whether you love words, Pokémon or anything else, there is bound to be one (or even more) for you.
The classic: Sutom
Derived from the excellent but outdated game show MOTUS presented by Thierry Beccaro, SUTOM is the digital version, playable on any web browser, on PC and on mobile. The principle is identical to that of its predecessor, find a word with only its first letter as a clue. Every day there is a word and a series of words to discover, and of course, the most important thing is to find it faster than your colleague and taunt him.
And if letters are your thing, many alternatives are available such as Wordle, Tusmo or the Yordle in which you have to guess words related to the League of Legends universe.
For Pokemon lovers: Pokéclicker

Who said pictionary was outdated? It is the very principle of skribbl.io. You must choose between three words and draw it in order to make your friends guess it in the allotted time. You can launch a game alone and therefore play with strangers, or on the contrary create a private room to invite your work colleagues. Small bonus, you can even enter a list of personalized words. Less known, but just as addictive, Cemantix. As for Sutom, the enigma is daily and the principle is to find a word. Except that there you have no starting clue. The game algorithm is based on the lexical field of the word to find. Basically, you enter words at random, and the game will tell you if their meanings are close or not to the word to be found. It can be a verb, a noun, an adverb, everything is possible and sometimes making connections can be difficult. The closer you are, the higher your score increases.
A few days ago, a variant appeared: Pedantix. The goal here is to guess a Wikipedia page by entering words. As for Cemantix, the lexical field is taken into account. The closer you are to the solution, the redder the word. (be careful, guaranteed headaches when you’re struggling and can’t put your finger on it).
For movie buffs: Framed
If the 7th art holds no secrets for you (or at least you firmly believe in it), then Framed is made for you ! The principle could not be simpler, find the name of a film every day from images. The game will offer you 6 in total, the goal being to find them as quickly as possible. With each wrong answer, a new image to help you. Admittedly, the principle is very simple, but the task is more difficult than it seems. As you can imagine, the first images are very often vague and, if you have never seen the film in question, it will be almost impossible to find it quickly!
Another small difficulty to take into account: you have to enter the English title. But a quick Google tour will allow you to do the translation if you have the title in French.
