Pokeclicker: The technique to get the rarest Pokémon in the game

Your adventure on Pokéclicker continues (or has just started) and you are probably already wondering if there are rarer Pokémon than others in the game. The answer is obviously yes, if only with the presence of the Shiny or even creatures obtainable via missions or events. But there is a particularly rare one that can only be obtained in one way.

What is the rarest Pokémon to get on Pokéclicker?

Although there are unique Pokémon obtainable through special events, such as Pikachu disguised as Ectoplasm for example, today we are going to tell you about an even rarer creature called Missing No. For context, this Pokémon appeared in Generation One but was actually a bug. Having become emblematic among all Pokéfans, the developers of Pokéclicker have decided to add it to the game in order to commemorate its existence. Simple easter eggit is possible to retrieve it and add it to your collection.

How to get Missing No on Pokéclicker?

Good. Now that you know the beast, here’s how to tame and capture it to add it to your Pokemon roster.

  1. Completely empty your Hatchery so as not to have any hatching eggs,
  2. Press F12 on your keyboard: this will open the Console of your browser,
  3. Go to the tab called “Console
  4. Scroll down to find the area where it is possible to write text (if you have installed an autoclicker, you already know how to do it),
  5. Type the following formula: App.game.breeding.gainPokemonEgg(1)
  6. Press on Hall to validate it: the console will display the word “True” if it worked
  7. Exit the menu by pressing F12 again and return to Pokéclicker
  8. You will now see a new egg in your Hatchery: to hatch it, use the usual method (i.e. fight Pokémon on the roads)
  9. Tap the egg to hatch it and you will see a message that you got a MissingNo
  10. Be careful though, you will not see MissingNo in your Pokédex. To see it, you have to go directly to your Pokémon List on the main screen.

Once obtained, it is of course possible to put MissingNo back in your Hatchery in order to hatch it again and obtain a better one. MissingNo is available in a shiny version, although its color does not change.
