The Dark and Ice-type Pokémon has a new form and evolution in the Hisui region. Here’s how to find and catch Hisui’s Sneasel and evolve it into Sneekex in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Just like with Alola and Galar before it, the Hisui region is filled with several regional forms in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Hisui’s Sneasel is notably one of them. Now a Fighting Pokémon | Poison, it evolves into a whole new Pokémon through a very specific method.

Farfurex is a brand new Pokémon from Hisui.

How to Capture Hisui’s Sneasel in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

You will be able to get this Generation 2 Pokémon in Coronet Highlands after defeating the third Pokémon Monarch.

Once done and the Farfurex mount unlockedfollow these steps:

  1. From the Mountain Camp, head west until you reach Celestica Trail.
  2. In the west of this area you will see a pond at the top of a waterfallHisui’s Sneasel awaits you there.
  3. This one will attack you on sight so use a Stealth Spray to camouflage you and approach him from behind. Throw a Ball at it to catch it.
  4. You can also find some later at Avalugg’s Legacy in Alabaster Icelands. An Alpha variant is also available there.

How to Evolve Sneasel into Sneekex in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

To evolve your Sneasel into Sneekex, you will need the item Razor Claw. Some Hisui Sneasels can drop this item when caught or defeated in combat.

Another method is to purchase this item with Merit Points from Jubilife for 1400 points.

Once in your possession, Sneasel will be ready to evolve in the day. Simply select your Razor Claw from your inventory and use it on the desired Pokémon.
