The majority of Mythical Pokémon can also only be obtained by completing limited-time Special Research. It’s very rare to get them any other way.
How to capture Legendaries in Pokémon Go?
It’s very simple, the only way to get a legendary in Pokemon Go is to first get one. beat one in a 5-Star Raid Battle. These battles take place in Arenas and you will usually need to team up with at least five other trainers to win.
Sometimes Legendary Trios are often featured in 5-Star Raids for a month.
Once you defeat a Legendary, you will receive a limited number of Honor Balls to try to capture it. Their catch rates are very low, so there’s never a guarantee of catching a Legendary you just beat.
You can increase your chances by making excellent throws. You can also get more Honor Balls to throw by dealing lots of damage or battling in an Arena that matches your team color.
