Pokémon GO: Crackling Voltage Event Details

To follow up on the Lunar New Year on Pokemon GONiantic has already announced that the Crackling Voltage event would succeed him. This one will begin on Friday January 27, 2023 at 10 a.m. and will end on Sunday February 5, 2023 at 11:59 p.m., local hour. As its name suggests, it will feature Electric Pokémon, some of which will appear for the first time in their chromatic form.

What to expect during the Crackling Voltage event?

Electric-type Pokémon will appear more frequently in nature and Tokorico, one of the guardian deities of the Alola region, will return to five-star raids. Additionally, he will take his first steps in his chromatic form alongside Galvaran. Are you ready to hunt, Trainers?

Wild Pokemon Encounters

These Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild. If you’re lucky, you might even encounter them in chromatic versions (with the exception of Larvibule and Moufouette).

Raids

One Star Raids

If it’s your lucky day, these Pokémon can be chromatic. Additionally, Galvarans will be more likely to be Chromatic in raids than in the wild.

Three Star Raids

With a bit of luck, you may be able to encounter Smogogo de Galar or Mysdibule in their chromatic form.

Five Star Raids

Registeel and Tokorico can both be found in chromatic versions.

Mega Raids

Mega Aerodactyl will be available from Wednesday, January 25 at 10 a.m. to Wednesday, February 1 at 10 a.m. local time. Mega Ectoplasm will appear in raids beginning Wednesday, February 1 at 10 a.m. until Wednesday, February 8 at 10 a.m. local time. They can both be chromatic if you’re lucky.

Eggs

The following Pokemon will be able to hatch from 7 km eggs and all of them will be able to be chromatic (except Lemon).

Pokémon from field studies

Throughout the event, complete field studies to encounter the following Pokémon. They will have a chance to spawn in their Chromatic form, except for Emolga and Hisui’s Voltorb.
