On April 1st, a new special research will start in Pokémon GO, which is rather unusual. Prof. Willow asks for your help and you have all day to catch Dittos. And they are… well, everywhere.
The Army of the Dittos
To celebrate April 1st, the Dittos have wormed their way into Pokémon GO. From 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., any Pokémon you catch may not be what you think. Go hunting and you might even find a shiny Ditto. Don’t forget to check out the PokéStops and open presents. There you can find Ditto stickers, which are alternatively only available in the shop.

Also, between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. some Pokémon appear more frequently in the wild. These, too, could actually be playing “Ditto change you” and trying to mislead you. You’ll only find out if it’s Ditto or not if you catch it.
