Pokémon Go: How to get all Plumeline styles?

Plumeline in her various styles debuted in Pokémon Go during the Festival of Colors event. If you’re wondering how to get all four Plumeline forms, you’ve come to the right place!

Since March 1, the Alola Season brought a whole bunch of Pokemon from the region to Niantic’s mobile game. Trainers around the world are now on the hunt for these creatures from the seventh generation games to add to their collection.

One of the latest additions is Plumeline, the Dancing Pokemon from the Alola region. Plumeline has been available since March 15, 2022 with the start of the “Fête des couleurs” event.

The peculiarity of Plumeline is that it has four different forms with special types for each:

  • Plumeline Style Buyō – Ghost/Flight
  • Flamenco Style Plumeline – Fire/Flight
  • Plumeline Style Hula – Psy/Flight
  • Plumeline Pom-Pom Style – Electric/Flight

If you’re hoping to catch them all, here’s everything you need to know about Plumeline before embarking on this adventure.

How to capture Plumeline in Pokémon Go?

For now, the way to capture Plumeline in Pokémon Go is either to meet one in natureor to obtain it by completing a Field Research task during the Festival of Colors event.

It will suffice to catch 10 Pokémon of different species to get in Plumeline reward. Please note, this mission is only available from March 15 to 20, 2022.

It’s unclear what the spawn rate of Plumeline will be once the Festival of Colors event ends, but an easy capture shouldn’t be expected. So it’s best to catch as many as you can right now

Is Plumeline Shiny available in Pokémon Go?

Unfortunately, the Chromatic version of Plumeline is not currently not available on Pokémon Go, for all its styles.

Niantic rarely releases a new species of Pokémon with its Shiny variant (with a few exceptions like Rockruff). It is likely that Plumeline Shiny will appear later in a special event.
