Niantic is launching the Lunar New Year 2022 event on Pokémon Go. On the program are a lot of missions and shiny Pokémon to hunt, including the adorable chromatic Helionceau and much more to discover.
Since the release of Pokémon Go in 2016, all around the globe, trainers know how to use their free time to capture as many Pokémon as possible.
Over the years, the studio has offered players a wide variety of missions and objectives to complete within a time limit. Whether it’s recurring events like Community Days, or more punctual as was the case with the Centrale not long ago, players always have something to take care of.
For this Lunar New Year of 2022, trainers will be able to discover many shiny, various and varied bonuses as well as a change in the content of eggs.
Lunar New Year 2022 Timings on Pokémon Go
The event celebrates the Lunar New Year from Tuesday, February 1 at 10 a.m. until Monday, February 7 at 8 p.m. (local time).
After which, players should receive a lot of content to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
Lunar New Year bonuses on Pokémon Go
Several bonuses are available to players in order to make the most of this week of events.
- Increased chance of getting lucky trades
- Double Stardust in gifts
- Increased chance of becoming Lucky Friends
- 1 additional special exchange per day
The additional special exchange will start on January 31, 2022 at 10 p.m. and end on February 8 at 10 p.m.
