August is now over and we can already discover what awaits us during September 2022 with the new Season of Light. On the program, raids, Cosmog, a Community Day and other events to celebrate this new month in Pokémon GO.
In September 2022, the Pokémon GO mobile game offers players an all-new Season of Light, marking the return of Professor Willow, the arrival of Cosmog in the game and much more.
On the program, you will find raids making their big comebacks (as well as new ones), but also events like the Phantasmagoria Psy. We invite you to discover the list of events and the dates to note in your calendar for the next month.
September Research Phase Reward
Charmina is the reward for the study phase (gather 7 quest stamps). It can also be captured in its chromatic form.
- Duration: September 1, 2022 at 10 p.m. to October 1, 2022 at 10 p.m.
Focus on the Season of Light
The Season of Light takes place from September 1 to December 1, 2022. It brings many new features such as:
- A special study to capture Cosmog for the first time,
- A Cloudy Sky over the game that can appear sometimes,
- New avatar items and themed stickers,
- Events (detailed below),
- Pokémon that appear more often in the wild and a new rotation of eggs with notably Mimantis in the 2km eggs, and Carapagos/Arkéapti in the 10km eggs.
Who says new season also says new bonuses:
- Increased damage dealt by Pokémon participating in Ranged Raids
- Guaranteed gifts by spinning PokéStops
- Incense effectiveness increased while walking
- Up to two free Raid Passes per day by spinning an Arena’s PhotoDisc

Pokémon GO: All Raids in September 2022
The following Pokemon will be available in 5-Star Raids. Each shift is at 10 a.m. (local time).
- Deoxys Normal Form: September 1 to 13
- Deoxys Form Attack: September 1-13
- Deoxys Defense Form: from September 1 to 13
- Deoxys Speed Form: September 1 to 13
It can be captured in shiny! Additionally, a Deoxys Raid Day will take place on September 11 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

September Featured Pokemon Hours
Featured Pokémon Hour returns every Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. this September. You will find the following Pokémon and bonuses there.
