We can’t say it enough but our players have talent and above all imagination! If all the creative side of these excels in particular in Minecraft, there are also beautiful nuggets in other licenses, and in particular that of Pokemon. Responding on behalf of Cedric Misothis young man decided to propose other maps based on the first Pokémon games, forgetting the Kanto region and its surroundings. Place now… in Nice!
From this town, Cédric has indeed decided to work on this rather crazy project, and therefore shares the fruit of his work through the TikTok network.. For the record, it all started last June when the latter decided to fall in love with pixel art. With a real love for the retro style of old GameBoy games, he tried a first try by creating a 2D village using Procreate software, thus bringing Pokémon Vermilava to life.
According to him, it took him a long time to complete his work, no less than 30 hours, but that did not discourage him, far from it, since he subsequently decided to embark on a huge construction site which is quite simply reproduce the city of Nice in 2D Pokémon version.
The result is quite stunning and really gives us the impression of being in a real Pokémon game such as Pokémon Blue or Pokémon Red. To make it as realistic as possible, even if it’s 2D, Cédric makes it a point of honor to reproduce the monuments identically so that they are easily identifiable, and this performance is to be saluted.
Furthermore, in a second videohe shows his other projects with the cities of Strasbourg, Clermont-Ferrand, Lyon as well as the city of Toulouseand to find out which one will be next, he invites his subscribers to suggest certain names!
Waiting for Pokémon Scarlet and Purple
In a few short weeks now, we will be able to discover Pokémon Scarlet and Violet which will make a final release on Nintendo Switch at the date of next November 18.
For this new opus, we will not have the right to an already known region and in 2D but beautiful and well to a new zone through Paldea, as well as the 9G of Pokémon, already!
