Pokémon Legends Arceus: the Monolith Soft studio ultimately did not work on the game

Pokemon Legends Arceus is finally out, and fans of the license were hoping Monolith Soft was working on Game Freak’s latest title. The Japanese studio, in charge of the license Xenoblade Chronicles, is a subsidiary that has belonged to Nintendo since 2007, and the latter had previously asked Monolith Soft for help to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. But for Legends Pokemon Arceus, it was not finally the case…

…And it shows

According to the first feedback that appeared on the game, Pokemon Legends Arceus perhaps did not deserve so much fear from us. The game is fun, warm, and allows once and for all to break the codes of the main series, in place for more than 20 years.

Nevertheless, the big downside is the graphic aspect of the title as well as its completely strawberry technique (we redirect you to our game test for more details). And the promises of an open-world game for Pokemon Legends Arceus had tickled the hopes of fans as the Monolith Soft studio was acclaimed in part for its particularly lively open worlds.

But the studio was not dispatched for the last Pokémon game, absent from the credits, and that is a shame. Furthermore, several new games at Monolith Soft are in preparation. Can we wait for a Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Or a new Pokémon game? Let’s hope not too much.
