Whereas Pokemon Scarlet and Purple have been available for a few days now and that the Pokédex have started to fill up for many, the choice of Pokémon is growing and little favorites are starting to emerge. Pokémon games tend to have at least one endearing Pokémon, a bit Pikachu-like in the first generation, but is that the case in this new installment?
Pohm the 9G Pikachu?

Surely you know Pohm, number 22 of the Paldea Pokédex, this little animal could be the closest thing to a Pikachu and in more ways than one might think..
Sharing the same type electric that Pikachu and not being much larger, this Pokemon is also a mouse and you will have surely noticed his cock is also somehow in form of lightning.
We can also see strong similarities in its play with small cheekbones reminiscent of the first generation mouse.
An adorable little pokemon therefore, very close to Pikachu although not having the same impact as Sacha’s sidekick in the anime.
Pohm can evolve twice, first into Pohmotte then in Pohmarmotte. His evolutions mainly make him grow in size, he will even end up walking on two legs.

To find your pohm you will have to go to the south of Paldea since it is mostly encountered in biomes grass or biomes rock as well as in the area south one and area south three of the region.
