Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Update Rolls Out Tomorrow, Nintendo Takes Feedback Seriously

Pokemon Scarlet and Purple may set new records for the license with millions of copies already distributed, they are not at all immune to criticism, far from it. Since their release, these opuses have been widely singled out for the many technical problems they reveal, even going so far as to push some people to request a refund. If the technique of games Pokemon has always been questionable on Switch, nintendo intends this time to solve some of the problems, even if we should not expect miracles.

The beginning of a wave of patches?

It is the manufacturer itself that warns us of the arrival of an upcoming update for these games. Nintendo specifies that version 1.1.0 of Pokemon Scarlet and Purple will be deployed tomorrow, December 2and will bring ranked Battle Stadium matches, fixes for audio issues, and other changes that are meant to improve the experience.

Nothing very major at first sight, but once will not hurt, Nintendo says it hears community feedback and takes it seriously :

We’re grateful to see so many people playing Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Purple, and we’re also aware that players may experience issues affecting game performance. Our goal has always been to provide a positive experience for people playing the titles we offer, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We take player feedback seriously and will continue to work to improve the games. »

Is it still necessary that this leads to updates that can really correct the biggest technical problems of the game, but nothing is assured.
