Police are looking for witnesses – Crashed into a wall: hit-and-run after a moped accident

Because of an unknown driver, a local woman (50) in Brixlegg in Tyrol crashed her moped into a concrete wall on Sunday night and fell. The driver then left the scene of the accident without stopping.

At around 11.20 p.m., the 50-year-old was driving her moped on the B171 from Sankt Gertraudi in the direction of Brixlegg. Her 52-year-old partner sat on the pillion. “At the roundabout in Brixlegg, the woman entered the roundabout and intended to continue driving in the direction of Kundl,” the police said. The driver of a dark car may have overlooked the two-wheeler. Woman was slightly injured “The 50-year-old was able to avoid colliding with the car by taking evasive action, but as a result she crashed into a concrete wall and fell,” said the executive. She was slightly injured in the accident and had to be taken to the hospital in Kufstein. The driver continued driving towards Kundl.
