Tragic accident in the Tyrolean community of Nassereith: According to the police, a car driver (55) wanted to overtake a truck on the Mieminger Bundesstraße in Nassereith yesterday at 2:10 p.m. Due to an oncoming car, probably a Mercedes Sprinter, she had to stop overtaking, skidded and crashed into oncoming traffic at a right angle. Finally, the car came to rest on the roof in the area of the eastern embankment. The victim had to be cut out of the car with rescue scissors, the emergency doctor could only determine death. The driver of the truck and Mercedes Sprinter should report. The driver (30) of the other car was slightly injured, the passenger (26) seriously injured. She was flown to the Innsbruck clinic with the emergency doctor helicopter. Now the police are looking for witnesses: The drivers of a white minibus, presumably a Mercedes Sprinter, and the truck that the woman tried to overtake are being asked to report to the Nassereith police station.
