Police attacked – loud phone call in the discount store ended with a beating

Who doesn’t know it: fellow human beings who turn a “long-distance call” on the mobile phone into “long-distance screaming”. Whether on the train, the bus or in the supermarket – just annoying. A “long-distance screamer” was also on Saturday morning in a discounter in the Baden-Württemberg city of Ravensburg. When another customer asked the man to lower his voice on the phone, he responded.

A 28-year-old man suspected of being under the influence of alcohol made a loud phone call in the grocery store, which disturbed other shoppers. When the man was asked by a 28-year-old customer to turn down the volume, the caller attacked him and punched him in the face. The alarmed police forced the man outside, where he then physically assaulted the officers attacked, threatened, insulted and tried to hit. Since his aggressive behavior did not improve, the German police officers took him into custody. The 28-year-old now has to answer for several crimes. The customer who was beaten suffered minor injuries.
