Deadly argument in Oetwil: detention requested for 19-year-olds

Volketswil: Man seriously injured after violent beating

According to initial investigations, there was a violent argument between several people at around 3 a.m. in the area of Geissbüelstrasse 8. During the argument, a 29-year-old suffered serious head injuries. The three other men involved, aged between 24 and 49, suffered minor to severe injuries in the incident.
The course of the crime and the motive for the crime as well as other backgrounds are not yet clear. The investigations are being conducted by the public prosecutor’s office and the Zurich cantonal police. Police are looking for anyone with information about the incident.
