Schalke draws level with the league leaders
FC Schalke have not conceded a goal for the fourth time in a row, Dynamo Dresden for the third time in a row without their own goals. The evening game of the 2nd Bundesliga only becomes a definite thing at the end. Before the kick-off, a policewoman is injured during a vehicle inspection.
Schalke 04 bite into the top of the table of the 2nd Bundesliga with a winning streak. The relegated Bundesliga defeated Dynamo Dresden deserved 3-0 (1-0) and won his fourth game in a row without conceding a goal in front of an atmospheric backdrop. Dresden, on the other hand, has lost three games in a row to zero.

Dynamo started strong, brave and put on pressing. But Schalke scored the goal: after around 20 minutes, Schalke managed to put real pressure on the Dresden goal for the first time. But Thomas Ouwejan turned with an outstretched leg in the rebound and pushed the ball into the Dresden net (20th).
No alcohol and more police
In the 40th minute, Schalke’s striker Simon Terodde almost managed to break the second Bundesliga goal record. Terodde stood alone in front of the gate – but Bülter’s flank rolled past him. This means that Terodde will have to share the goal scorer record with Dieter Schatzschneider for a while, both of whom have scored 153 times so far.
Dresden continued to play at least at eye level, even taking command, but there were no chances to score until a very dangerous header from Pascal Sohm (62nd). Christoph Daferner (70th) could also have equalized. Schalke did not use their counterattack opportunities consistently: Jaroslaw Michailow pushed the ball into his arms while he was free-standing (49th).
56,000 spectators gave the high-security game an inspiring setting. The police had carried out extensive checks, alcohol was forbidden, and there were numerous personnel carriers behind the guest block. A policewoman was injured during a pre-game check. A police spokesman said an unknown person escaped control by escaping and hit the 28-year-old policewoman and slightly injured her. She had been taken to a hospital for examination.
In the evening, the police could not conclusively say whether the stranger was a Dresden football fan, as the media had reported. That is the subject of the investigation. The car had left the Autobahn 42 at around 3:25 p.m. at the Gelsenkirchen-Bismarck junction. He had a Dresden license plate. During the inspection on Reckfeldstrasse, the officers found that the driver did not have a valid driver’s license. Suddenly he started the vehicle and drove off suddenly. According to the police, the 28-year-old officer fell to the ground.
