A concert hall in Geneva was evacuated on Saturday evening due to threats.
The French rapper Lomepal was supposed to give a sold-out concert there.
The police then searched the premises, according to the Geneva cantonal police.
A few minutes before the planned start of the concert by French rapper Lomepa after 9 p.m., the police cleared the hall for security reasons, several Geneva media reports. The concert was sold out.
The Geneva police first confirmed the operation to the radio station “Radio Lac”. There was a threat against the concert. “As a precaution, the arena was evacuated and searched.”
At the request of the Keystone-SDA news agency, the police did not provide any further information for the time being. “Radio Lac” also reported that the evacuation was calm and orderly despite the tense situation. You could leave the arena quickly and without collisions.
