Police were required – motionless people and Rottweilers at drug party

It’s not every day that something like this happens! Salzburg police officers had to go to an apartment in Oberndorf where two people were lying motionless and a whopping 100 grams of cocaine was found. Fitted into the picture was an aggressive Rottweiler guarding the entrance.

A tip from the population led the officers of the Oberndorf police inspection to an apartment in the local area on Wednesday morning. There, the police officers not only noticed a strong smell of cannabis, they also found two motionless people marked by heavy drug use, as well as a lot of narcotics and cash. But that was not all. There was also an aggressive Rottweiler in the apartment, which could only be tamed with a subsequently requested service dog patrol. A 26-year-old woman from Salzburg recovered quickly after first aid, while a 31-year-old man from Salzburg was put into Christian Doppler due to his poor physical condition brought to the clinic. On site, the officials then seized significant amounts of cash and tons of drugs. In addition to cannabis herb, tablets containing narcotic drugs are said to have also been around 100 grams of cocaine. The 31-year-old was arrested in the late afternoon by officers from the State Criminal Police Office. Further investigations are ongoing.
