Political C: Karim Rissouli replaced by a well-known face of France 5

After six years at the helm of C Politique, Karim Rissouli leaves France 5. According to Télérama, the channel has chosen a journalist known to viewers to take over.

For Karim Rissouli, it’s the end of a great adventure. At the helm of C Politique since 2016, the journalist bade farewell to viewers of France 5 on Sunday June 26. “For my part, I am simply going to thank you, you who have trusted us for six years every Sunday. You have continued to do so, moreover. Thank you for your loyalty. I will hand over control next season, launched Karim Rissouli when returning to the antenna. ‘C Politique’, it continues. Camille will be there. Thomas (Snégaroff,) will be there. Yaël Goosz will be there. Me, I know what I will do on Sunday evening at 6:30 p.m. on my sofa. And it is therefore a face well known to viewers of France 5 who should replace him from next September. According Telerama indeed, it is Thomas Snégaroff who recovers the animation of C politique.

As our colleagues note, this choice is rather obvious since the journalist already presented the second part of the magazine, C Politique la suite and has already replaced Karim Rissouli several times on the set of the Sunday broadcast of France 5. “But this new stage confirms the establishment on TV of this former history-geography teacher, who taught for fifteen years in high schools in Seine-Saint-Denis or in the North”writes Télérama. From the start of the next school year, Thomas Snégaroff will therefore return to the set he knows well. but not all the chroniclers of C Politique since Camille Girerd will no longer be present. For his last, moreover, Karim Rissouli had highlighted his work on France 5: “Camille, you were a columnist, editor-in-chief, joker… You replaced me, when I needed it, in a brilliant way. So, thank you on my behalf and on behalf of the whole team”.

France 5: another host leaves the channel

And the antenna of France 5 will lose another of its flagship faces at the start of the next school year. As François Busnel announced in the columns of Parisianit will give way to the animation of the Grande Librairie. “I remain producer of this show that I created and that I love deeply: every Wednesday evening, I will be in control. I am not giving up the baby. I am just changing jobs: I will be on the other side of the screen. At 53, I want new challenges”, he explained. But who will succeed him? “The choice is not finalized yet, but the people we considered are of very high quality. I admire them all”. According to Le Parisien, Augustin Trapenard could recover the Grande Librairie and leave Boomerang, the program he has hosted every day on France Inter for eight years. The transfer window is not over.
