Polti unveils a new range of steam cleaners consisting of four devices. Called Polti Vaporetto Style, this series has an Extra Steam function that quickly removes even the most stubborn dirt.
Polti is not new to the design of steam cleaners since it markets four models of the Vaporetto Style series. With this new range, the Italian manufacturer promises express and in-depth cleaning thanks to the Extra steam function which would allow “quickly unclog even the toughest messes with a 50% increase in steam flow”. Each of these models also benefits from three programs accessible from the control panel in order to adjust the level of steam according to the type of floor and the surface to be disinfected.
These devices take the form of a steam mop, thus imitating the Kärcher SC2 Upright Easyfix. Like most steam cleaners, they are not self-contained and drag a cord 7.5 m long. Each model has a removable 500ml tank. The datasheet states that 20s is enough to preheat the water.
Polti SV610
At the entry level, the Vaporetto SV610 is the lightest of the quartet. Displaying 2.72 kg on the scale, this steam cleaner should be very handy and easily pass under furniture. A not insignificant criterion given that this new range can be used in “manual mode” simply by removing the metal tube to clean at height or in hard-to-reach corners. All you have to do is add the hose (supplied), at the end of which you can install one of the 15 accessories (also supplied). This model will be sold at a price of 179 €.
Polti SV620
The SV620 benefits from most of the characteristics of its predecessor, with the difference that it benefits from an additional reservoir dedicated to the Frescovapor, a liquid air freshener. This steam cleaner is sold at the same price as the Vaporetto SV610, i.e. 179 €.

The other two high-end models differ only in color. The V650 benefits from a red coating, while the SV660 sports a metallic gray dress. Unlike the two previous steam cleaners, they have a cork handle and not plastic for reasons, we imagine, simply aesthetic. In addition, the V650 and SV660 are delivered with 19 accessories. Among the new amenities, there is a triangular brush to clean in the corners. These two models also benefit from an additional limescale filter. They are marketed at the price of 199 €.
