Do you like retrogaming? So we may have found your program for February 10 and 11.
Due to our historical location, at Clubic we obviously pay particular attention to upcoming high-tech events in the Lyon region… but also to (old) video games. Also, it is difficult to miss a new retrogaming convention which will be held in a few days in the capital of Gaul.
A new retrogaming convention in Lyon in February
Poly’Gones is the name of a brand new convention 100% dedicated to retrogaming, which will be held on February 10 and 11 at La Cité des Halles in Lyon 7th.
The organization includes Retro Polo, a video game videographer on YouTube, as well as Kévin from Art’Cade, a store specializing in the development of terminals personalized by street art figures.
For the organizers, the objective is to offer a first retrogaming event which will concentrate in the same place all the components of this passion shared by many (old?) players.
In particular, we will find “ quality games, atypical accessories to discover, professionals in the field, people transmitting (videos, books), equipment sellers… “.
Video games, but also developers, repairers, composers, cosplay….
Among the confirmed guests, we find the NES developer Dale Coop, the YouTuber Double Impact, but also the video game historian Florent Gorges (Omake Books), and the expert in modification and rezoning of Super Nintendo, FFVIMan.
Of course, the convention will also be an opportunity for enthusiasts to make new discoveries and new encounters, with the possibility of competing on numerous video game consoles from yesteryear. Enough to immerse yourself in a distant video game past, and have fun with friends, or family, with the video games that once made us vibrate.
