The Xiaomi Redmi 12 is currently on offer in Aldi’s online shop. The inexpensive everyday cell phone scores points above all with its very decent equipment for the price and some features that are otherwise only offered by more expensive models.
The 109-euro smartphone has a 6.79-inch Full HD+ display and a generous 128 gigabytes of storage space, which can be expanded with a microSD card if desired. There is also a classic headphone jack, which hardly any cell phones offer these days.
Triple camera with 50 megapixels
The processor is a MediaTek Helio G88 Octa-Core, which is supported by four gigabytes of RAM. There is a triple camera with 50 megapixels on the glass back, and the front camera takes photos with 8 megapixels.
The battery has a capacity of 5,000 milliampere hours. So it should easily get you through the day. Quick charging with up to 18 watts is also possible. Other features include Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, WLAN and LTE. In addition, the device is protected against water and dust according to IP53.

The Redmi 12 is a simple smartphone that is sufficient for everyday use and small games. It scores points above all with its large battery, water protection, NFC (mobile payment and more) and the classic headphone jack.
