Already present on the electric market, Porsche should soon add a model to its EV catalogs.

Indeed, the German manufacturer should soon market a “zero emission” version of its Panamera.

The Porsche Panamera EV by 2027?

It was in 2019 that Porsche entered the 100% electric car market, with its now famous Taycan. A visibly appreciated model, since of the (just over) 300,000 Porsches sold in 2021, there were around 42,000 Taycans sold. The electric vehicle even climbed ahead of the mythical 911.

This success continues in 2022, with just under 20,000 Taycans sold during the first half. Also, Porsche intends to accelerate its electric strategy and aims to have 50% of electrified vehicles in all of its sales by 2025. This quota will even increase to 80% in 2030.

In addition, the manufacturer will soon expand its catalog of electric vehicles with a zero-emission version of its Macan, which is its second best seller. According Coach UK, Porsche will also offer a 100% electric version of its Panamera, which will be based on the Volkswagen group’s SSP platform. Remember that the latter will be operational in 2026, so do not expect to see the Porche Panamera EV land before (at least) 2027.
