By spring 2022, Porsche will introduce five versions of its Taycan Sport Turismo into the French network, which we present to you in detail.

That a Sport Turismo version invites itself into the catalog of the electric Taycan is nothing new. The firm from across the Rhine had already announced the news in November 2021, without giving many details at the time. This time, the manufacturer goes into much more detail according to a press release sent to the editorial staff.
As a reminder, the Sport Turismo version more or less resembles the Cross Turismo, an adventurer hunting station wagon that won over the editorial team during our test. Except that to stand out, our protagonist of the day does not include any off-road equipment and sees his measurements change slightly.
A rear-wheel drive version
Its headroom is increased by 45 mm at the rear, against 9 mm at the front, thus increasing the impression of space within the passenger compartment. The trunk volume climbs to 446 liters, but drops to 406 liters for the Turbo versions. Finally, the vehicle opts for an 84-litre front trunk, always practical for storing a small bag.

Let’s go deeper into the technical details with the list of the five versions added to the Porsche catalog. Note that a propulsion version is included, something that the Cross Turismo refuses to offer:
- Taycan Sport Turismo: rear-wheel drive, 300 kW (408 hp), optional Performance Plus battery for 350 kW (476 hp), €89,324 :
- Taycan 4S Sport Turismo: all-wheel drive, 390 kW (530 hp), optional Performance Plus battery for 420 kW (571 hp), €110,374 :
- Taycan GTS Sport Turismo: all-wheel drive, 440 kW (598 hp), €136,619;
- Taycan Turbo Sport Turismo: all-wheel drive, 500 kW (680 hp), €157,294;
- Taycan Turbo S Sport Turismo: all-wheel drive, 560 kW (761 hp), €190,894.
For Kevin Giek, Taycan range manager, “the new Sport Turismo range is a balanced and varied offer, from the remarkable agility of the rear-wheel drive model to the formidable power of the Turbo S model, capable of arousing the enthusiasm of our customers“, he enthuses.
The Taycan Sport Turismo even have the luxury of a Sunshine Control panoramic roof, whose glazing can turn from opaque to transparent via a simple touch control. A good way to meet the desires of users, who may as well want brightness as a more subdued atmosphere.
Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Voice Pilot voice assistant, charging planner, parking assistance (spaces in battle, slots), Bose Surround sound system: this new batch of electric cars accumulates on-board technologies to meet the maximum number of needs.
See you in the spring
On the charging side, Porsche promises a quick recharge of 22 minutes and 30 seconds to climb from 5 to 80%. More concretely and even more impressively, the press release mentions a gain of 100 kilometers in the space of just five minutes. Only the autonomy of the 4S Sport Turismo has been communicated: 498 kilometers (WLTP), the longest range of the range.
The Taycan GTS Sport Turismo will be available from the end of February. We will have to wait three more weeks to see the other models land. And to give you an even more concrete idea of the vehicles, the manufacturer’s online configurator already displays them on its page.
According to documents consulted by CarBuzz, Porsche would develop an exhaust system for its future electric sports cars in order to reproduce the same sound signature as a thermal model. Purists will be delighted.
