portable console for cloud gaming leaked

Announced in August, the portable console of the Logitech feat Tencent partnership has just leaked. This is what we can discover.

In August 2022 we told you about Logitech’s console project in partnership with the Chinese giant Tencent. Well it turns out that barely a month later a well-known tech Twitter user leaked images of said console.

A leak in images of the Logitech console

If the images disappeared at the request of Logitech/Tencent in the original tweet, you can find them in this news.

Looks like Nintendo Switch

What we can say is that the design is very strongly inspired by the Nintendo Switch, no doubt. Even the positioning of the keys and buttons is quite similar. It’s hard not to make the connection, especially with the area of the joysticks and triggers.

There is therefore a joystick on each side for an asymmetrical layout, a directional cross and a Logitech G button on the left, classic A, B, X and Y keys and a Home button on the right.

This resemblance to the Nintendo console is found even in the menu. Especially in its layout and in its refined side. In the image above we can spot several software installed on the Cloud side with Xbox Cloud Gaming, GeForce Now, Steam (in remote play) but also YouTube, Google Play or Chrome.

There are also five icons that are without getting too wet dedicated to food, settings, photos, emails and what seems to be the user profile. Everything should run on Android. The big unknown obviously remains the price and incidentally the release date.
