Portal 3: The screenwriter wants a return of the license – Portal 3

The Portal license has been present on the gaming scene for a long time now. The first opus was made available in 2007 on the Xbox 360, on PS3 then on PC in boxed version, while Portal 2 arrived, in our green regions, from 2011. For each opus, the players were at the rendezvous and were enthusiastic, each time. Many have therefore wondered if a third opus would see the light of day.

Lately, license writer, Erik Wolpaw (also known for his work on Artifact and Half-Life: Alyx), expressed his desire to create and develop the scenario of Portal 3. Indeed, during the Kiwi Talkz podcast, Wolpaw said: “ We have to start [la création/le développement] of Portal 3, that’s my message to you. Whatever it is possible to do, let’s do it, let’s make it happen. ‘Cause yeah, I’m not getting any younger either […] I’ll be too old to work on Portal 3 so we should “.

Subsequently, Eric Wolpaw urged fans to reach out to Gabe Newell and Valve to get the project off the ground, though he doesn’t think that will necessarily help speed things up. Nevertheless, it’s a safe bet that Portal 3 would be highly appreciated by the community, if the game is to be released one of these days.
