Before carrying out (in particular) 10 Cloverfield Lanethe American Dan Trachtenberg realized Portal: No Escapea nice short film inspired by the famous video game from Valve.

You don’t have to be a river work to tell great science fiction stories. In Short Fiction, we are interested in the best short films and short formats of SF. Animation or live-action, known or more discreet works, French or elsewhere… All are welcome and will make you dream of electric sheep for a few minutes.

Portal: No Escape : while waiting for the official film…

Many players are eagerly awaiting a hypothetical Portal 3, and even the film adaptation of the long-talked-about license. And while waiting for the fateful announcement, we can always deceive the wait by looking for creations that take place near or far in the game universe of Valve.

Portal: No Space, released in 2011, is a little dated but still remains as effective despite its light scenario. For 5 minutes, it is about following a woman’s escape attempt using the famous portal gun.

GLaDOS would be proud

Besides the convincing performance of Danielle Rayne in the role of Chell, the work shines in particular by the intelligent use which it makes of the portals. There is no doubt that players should in any case enjoy, even dream of a game Portal where the object can be used for something other than solving puzzles…
