After the declarations of Kylian Mbappé and Marcus Thuram, who say they are opposed to “the extremes”, Jordan Bardella, guest of La Grande interview Europe 1-Cnews, says “not to feel targeted” by these remarks. The president of the National Rally called for “respecting everyone’s vote”. Listen to the video clip again.

INTERVIEW

Jordan Bardella was not disturbed by the criticism addressed to him by the players of the French football team before their entry into the running at Euro 2024. While Marcus Thuram directly targeted the RN in a conference of press and that Kylian Mbappé has assured his opposition “to the extremes”, the president of the National Rally assures him: “I do not feel targeted.” The European elected official, although he claims to have “respect for the sporting career” of the two attackers, nevertheless called for “respecting the French and everyone’s vote” in the context of the next legislative elections.

“When you are lucky enough to have a very big salary and to be able to travel around in a private jet, I am a little embarrassed to see these athletes giving lessons to people who earn 1,400-1,500 euros per month. I am not certain that, in the very difficult period that the country is going through and that the French are going through, these moral lessons are very appreciated”, he said at the microphone of Laurence Ferrari.
