Potion Craft will be released from early access in the fall

Its publisher tinyBuild announces it, Potion Craft will be released from early access to join its final version this fall. Already well endowed with content, the game puts us in charge of an alchemist’s shop in a small town, selling his potions with a vengeance. Having to meet the different desires of our customers, we have to concoct potions with different effects, then sell them in order to buy new ingredients, while gaining the experience necessary to progress in the scenario.

It is mainly thanks to its concoction system that it surprises, since each ingredient traces a path on an effects map centered around the starting cauldron, forcing the player to constantly gauge between progress along the drawn path and the dodge obstacles that exist in the way of the most powerful effects. The progression is long and linear, the gameplay is never really renewed, but we enjoy experimenting with new recipes, optimizing paths, labeling potions and discovering new effects, before combining them.

Clever and very addictive as it stands, its final version will include a major novelty, the possibility of lengthening its potions with oil in addition to water, which had the effect of moving the cursor back towards the cauldron. With new quests, a revised reputation system, new potions and a bargaining system via a mini-game with now selectable difficulty, there will be enough to immerse yourself in what is one of the most more restful releases in recent years.
