To venture into new territories and thus into the unknown, to remain steadfast against external resistance and, above all, to keep the tyrants in check in your own head, drains your body, mind and soul. So in this phase it is particularly important to take care of ourselves even better – or maybe even to finally start. There are no completely carefree tips for relaxing and being happy. The questions “What gives me strength? What are my power chargers? ”We can only answer ourselves. Let’s embark on an exciting journey to the favorite pastimes of our childhood and new discoveries in the here and now – alone, as a couple, with friends or even with completely new people.

First power chargers from different areas for inspiration – have fun browsing and empathizing:

Get in motion

Movement is always good for you and even helps out of emotional lows

  • Those who go on a journey create new horizons, clear their heads, and let themselves be inspired by the change of scenery. How about a short trip again? Also exciting: Discover completely new things on your own doorstep – happiness is often so close.
  • Get your bottom up and try out a whole new movement: Fancy a round of Yin Yoga? Do you want to dance 5 rhythms once? Have you ever been to kickboxing? No matter what you do exactly: Movement pushes the happiness hormones and afterwards you are also so satisfied with yourself!
  • Set yourself small, initial goals and take the first feasible step and the next and the next. This is immediately followed by the first sense of achievement – and they give you a lot of power!

Get creative

  • Try cooking Persian or Czech or Swedish – just something that doesn’t mix the usual spices together
  • Bad weather?!: Pimp your apartment indoors and retreat in autumn & winter – and think of lots of lights / chains and lamps, maxi pillows and cozy blankets.
  • Get paper, pens, old magazines, photos, eagle owls, etc. out of the drawers and stick your own vision collage. Let out everything you long for and where you see yourself in a year, for example. It’s just getting darker outside, but you have a shining magnet in your heart and your apartment.

Be cocky, discover new things, let go

  • Put on your favorite music and dance wildly and exuberantly. This really gets your heart and circulation going and releases lots of happiness hormones.
  • Leave your workplace an hour earlier “than allowed” and enjoy a cappuccino with the last, warming rays of the sun of the year.
  • Take a different route or a different means of transport home. Keep your eyes open to see all the exciting things you will encounter along the way. For the weekend, write down the restaurant or café that you never noticed before. Swing around in the children’s playground.

Pure enjoyment

  • Pamper yourself from head to toe, go to the sauna, have a massage, take a fragrant bubble bath and then it’s time to cuddle up in the jogger with a book and hot chocolate on the sofa.
  • Celebrate yourself once again: Mot yourself up and go with your dear friend to your favorite restaurant – even if it is a little too expensive: You can save again tomorrow! Just short of cash ?: It’s usually enough for a drink in a cool bar.
  • Is it pouring rain outside? Invite your favorite people to an extended coffee chat.

Autumn is just around the corner: Enjoy nature & the season

  • When was the last time you were mushroom picking? Have you ever helped with the harvest for a day in a vineyard? Or ever made a potato fire?
  • How about flying a kite again?
  • Equip yourself with the right multifunctional clothing: This means that the harsh climate can bother you less and it is even more wonderful at home afterwards.

Last but not least: a couple of turbo power chargers

  • The absolute freshness and good mood kick to get moving in the morning: Take a shower change. Start warm and stop cold – alternating at least three times.
  • Don’t forget 20 minutes of power naps and small breaks – as a rough measure: 5 to 10 minutes break every 90 minutes.
  • Maybe enjoy a super charging ginger tea as well.
  • It gets dark earlier: Illuminate your rooms enough, it keeps you fit longer. Maybe try a daylight lamp once – it has at least 2,500 lux to 10,000 lux brightness.

And now comes the absolute freestyle: Give yourself the time & the space to do yourself good. This is the most important and often the hardest step!
