The Anker PowerWave II Pad charges smartphones quickly overall: it takes 3:33 hours for an iPhone 12 and only 2:55 hours for a Samsung Galaxy Note 20. It’s also pretty fast for an inductive charger and puts the competition to shame.
The design is simple but appealing. The efficiency of the Anker PowerWave II Pad is good overall: the device consumes 27.7 Wh of energy for the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and only 23.9 Wh for the iPhone 12.
The biggest shortcoming is probably the non-standard power connection. You always have to have the supplied cable with you to be able to connect the charger. USB-C or micro-USB would have been much more practical here.
