Powerful e-scooter with 30 cameras: Acceleration like Suzuki’s GSX-R1000

Horwin’s Sementi 0 electric scooter goes from 0 to 100 km/h as fast as Suzuki’s GSX-R1000 and has a “sentry mode” like Tesla’s.

  • This sensational electric scooter will be on display at the EICMA motorcycle fair (10th to 13th November in Milan).
  • The Sementi 0 comes with cruise control, radar, 30 cameras, tire pressure monitoring and “Sentry Mode”.
  • It only needs 2.8 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h – that’s exactly how long the super sports car GSX-R1000 from Suzuki needs.

No matter how futuristic the electric scooter BMW CE-04 may look, it has no cuts compared to the Horwin Sementi 0, which was designed in Austria and manufactured in China – both from a technical point of view and in terms of performance values.

The maxi scooter has an electric motor that delivers a powerful 600 Newton meters to the rear wheel from a standing start. It accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and is thus in a head-to-head race against the super sports car Suzuki GSX-R1000.

At 287 km/h, the motorcycle offers significantly more top speed, since the Horwin electric scooter electronically locks at 200 km/h. Drivers can deal with numerous electronic gimmicks and safety functions that we have rarely seen in this form.

For example, the e-scooter offers tire pressure monitoring, radar-based cruise control, hill start assistant, blind spot assistant and a total of 30 cameras distributed around the vehicle. The latter enable a mode that is reminiscent of Tesla’s Sentry Mode and helps prevent theft.

The cameras are also used to study your driving behavior via AI and “actively support” it over time. Exactly what that will look like remains unclear at the moment. In any case, future owners will no longer need a GoPro, because the system should be able to automatically record interesting routes and maneuvers over time.

Lots of high tech

There are heated handles and seats, an app connection and a reverse gear that helps with manoeuvring. The list goes on. Also at the start are ABS, an electronically adjustable chassis, an automatically adjusting windshield – in short: a lot of high-tech.

The range of the built-in 16.2-kilowatt-hour battery is specified by the manufacturer as 300 kilometers at an average speed of 88 km/h. The battery can be fully recharged within 30 minutes. Information on price and availability is not yet available and should be announced at the EICMA in Milan. You can find more information from the manufacturer.
