PPDA accused of rape: Jean-Pierre Pernaut reacts to the charges against his friend: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

They worked together for over twenty years. Today, faced with the charges against his friend, Jean-Pierre Pernaut says he is "shocked". And for good reason, as revealed The Parisian on February 18, 2021, the writer and YouTuber Florence Porcel filed a complaint against Patrick Poivre d'Arvor for "aggravated rapes". According to the complainant, Claire Chazal's ex-boyfriend allegedly abused her on several occasions between 2004 and 2009 by forcing her to have sex in her own office. For now, a judicial investigation has just been opened at the Nanterre public prosecutor's office and entrusted to the brigade for the repression of delinquency against the person. Asked about the charges against him, the father of seven denies the young woman's story altogether.

On the set of Do not touch My TV, Friday February 19, 2021, Nathalie Marquay, in a relationship with Jean-Pierre Pernaut for nearly twenty years, shared her husband's reaction when he learned of the complaint filed against PPDA.

"Jean-Pierre Pernaut is very shocked"

Asked by Cyril Hanouna about her husband, the former Miss France said with a very serious air: "Jean-Pierre is very shocked. He worked and was for more than twenty years with him. Frankly, he said to himself that it is not possible …" A strong opinion that the mother of two seems to share: "What shocks me is that five years later, she calls him to ask for an interview again. If we were raped, I would be afraid to see my rapist in front of me", she declared, before being corrected by Gilles Verdez: "There is this hold, she says it herself, she was under the influence. She undergoes, that's what she said".

If Jean-Pierre Pernaut reacted strongly to these accusations, it is also and above all because the two men worked for a long time in the offices of TF1. At the time of Patrick Poivre d'Arvor's ouster in 2008, Jean-Pierre Pernaut did not hide his emotion: "When one of the team members leaves, it comes as a shock. PPDA is twenty years of professional memories. As in New York, the day after September 11: we had not boarded the same plane, in case one of them fell. Patrick, he's a friend ", he confided to Parisian. A "friend" today in turmoil although he is presumed innocent until the end of the investigation.
