What is this entry-level scooter from Xiaomi?
It’s not its design that makes the Scooter 4 Lite stand out. Its lines are classic and the sober style, apart from the visible red cables, is rather all-purpose, despite this little touch of personal color. Its plastic and aluminum design is robust, and the finishes are excellent. The Scooter 4 Lite is a lightweight scooter that weighs only 15.6 kg. An ideal size for the city and intermodal travel. Its folding system is also well designed and the 4 Lite is quick to fold.
On the 8.5 inch wheels is the deck with a width of 16 cm. A sufficient surface to place both feet on and feel safe and provide a pleasant driving sensation. In terms of ergonomics, the front is T-shaped, with a handlebar equipped with non-slip grips, and an intuitive digital dashboard. The LED screen is simplistic, but the essentials are there. The ride is smooth and the braking system is efficient.

The Scooter 4 Lite is a good basic and affordable model, which is clearly worth it at this price. The Xiaomi scooter comes with a motor with a nominal power of 300 W. Without being the most powerful motor for a machine of this type, the power delivered is sufficient for riding in town. You will easily reach the maximum speed of 25 km/h, especially with Sport mode and can climb hills of up to 14%. The two other modes, Standard and Pedestrian, are satisfied with a speed of 20 km/h and 6 km/h respectively.
Finally, in terms of endurance, the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Lite has a range of 20 km, depending on road conditions. Note that the scooter can connect via Bluetooth to the dedicated Xiaomi Home application, in order to lock it remotely.
