Xiaomi and Samsung will certainly not be keen to follow the launch of the Google Pixel 8a, as this is a clear top model in the mid-range smartphone segment.

Thanks to the Tensor T3 processor, the device is one of the fastest in the mid-range, offers an integrated VPN and AI functions that are more likely to be reserved for the competition’s Pro models. In the “magic editor” you can even make objects in photos disappear or move them.

The Pixel 8a will be released on May 14, 2024 at a price of 549 euros and you can already pre-order it – including at MediaMarkt. You can choose between four different colors when purchasing: black, green, white and blue. Anyone who trades in their old cell phone when purchasing can secure a bonus of 150 euros.

The smartphone also offers a 6.1-inch OLED display with 120 Hertz, a 64-megapixel camera with ultra-wide angle (13 MP), wireless charging and a battery capacity of 4,492 milliampere hours. You can choose between two storage versions: 128 gigabytes or 256 gigabytes.
