Apple has just introduced four new iPhones: the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. Find out on which stores it is already possible to pre-order the new Apple smartphones, with prices increasing this year.
Apple made its new iPhones official on September 7, 2022. There is no iPhone 14 mini this year, but a standard 6.1-inch iPhone 14 accompanied by a 6.7-inch “Plus” version. Apple also presented the two traditional premium versions: the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max which, as usual, receive preferential treatment in terms of new features.
? iPhone 14 and 14 Plus: where to buy them at the best price?
The basic iPhone 14 (6.1 inches) is displayed at 1019 € against 909 € for the iPhone 13 at its launch last year. This represents an increase of €110, a certain consequence of the rise in the dollar. And knowing that the mini version which cost €809 is no longer offered, this means that the entry price of the 14 series increases by €210 (€1019 instead of €809). The iPhone 14 is at the best price at SOSH at 999 € instead of 1019 €.

The good news is that it’s now possible to buy a full-size iPhone without going for the Pro Max version. The iPhone 14 Plus which has the same screen size is thus offered from €1169 (128 GB). The one with 256 GB of storage is 1299 €. Finally, the 512 GB version costs €1559. The iPhone 14 Plus is at the best price at SOSH at 1119 € instead of 1169 €.

The iPhone 14 is in pre-order and will be available from September 16, 2022. For the iPhone 14 Plus, you will have to wait a little longer. The smartphone arrives on October 7, 2022, a month after the presentation. Both models are available in 5 colors: blue, black, purple, white and red.
?iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max on pre-order: where to buy them at the best price?
If you prefer the more polished versions of the iPhone, the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max are available for pre-order. At higher prices than in previous years. Count 1329 € for the basic version of the iPhone 14 Pro and 1479 € for that of the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Compared to last year’s models, prices are up by €170 and €220. The iPhone 14 Pro is best priced at Sosh at €1,279 and the Pro Max at €1,429.

? What’s new in iPhone 14 and 14 Plus?
Let’s start with the iPhone 14. It changes very little from last year’s model. It has the same 6.1-inch OLED LTPS screen with a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The panel retains its excellent brightness of 1200 nits and is compatible with Dolby Vision, HDR and HLG. The screen of the iPhone 14 Plus has the same characteristics, with the difference that it is much larger: 6.7 inches and this is a very significant novelty.
In other words, now you can claim a bigger screen even if you can’t afford the iPhone 14 Pro Max. For the rest, the two smartphones keep the same Apple A15 Bionic SoC, with the difference that the RAM memory increases to 6 GB and the integrated modem increases to Snapdragon X65, the same that equips the latest generation of high-end Qualcomm SoCs ( Snapdragon 8 Gen 1). This allows iPhone 14 and 14 Plus to have WiFi 6E.
For the Photo part, the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus have a main sensor 12 MP (wide angle) which is more effective in low light. The second is an ultra wide-angle sensor of the same definition. The 12 MP selfie camera features theauto focus. Finally, the new iPhones, like the Apple Watch Series 8 will offer the Crash Detection functionwhich automatically detects road accidents using the smartphone’s gyroscope and accelerometer.
? What’s new in the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max?
As usual, it is the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max that concentrate the most novelties. The most noticeable change is in the design. Apple says goodbye to the traditional notch in favor of a more discreet notch in the form of a “pill” and which the brand has called “Dynamic Island”. Notifications will now move around the pillar-like notch.
Both Pro versions have an OLED LTPO display with a dynamic refresh rate of 120 Hz. The latter can go down to 1 Hz depending on the context to save energy. As for sizes, the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max measure 6.1 and 6.7 inches diagonally, respectively. Both models have an Always-on panel.
Under the hood, there is a new chip: the Apple A16 Bionic which benefits from 4 nm engraving. And for the photo part, we go from 12 MP to 48 MP for the main sensor. The latter is also 21% larger than the 1/1.65 inch sensor of the iPhone 13 Pro. The two new smartphones are also capable of filming in 8K at 24 FPSa first for Apple.
The main sensor is supported by a 12 MP ultra wide-angle module and a 12 MP telephoto lens. Finally, the selfie camera benefits from autofocus just like that of the other two models.
