IllFonic loves multiplayer video games gameplay asymmetric based on films. After Friday the 13th: The Gamewhich was abandoned far too early due to rights issues, the studio developed Predator: Hunting Grounds, released in 2020 on PC and PlayStation 4. The title is discreet, but today, there is a big change.
Sony Interactive Entertainmentpublisher of the game so far, leaves the publishing rights to IllFonicwho will continue to take care of Predator: Hunting Grounds. The developer announces that PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions will arrive at the end of 2024, while updates will be released for another year. The port to the latest generation home consoles will use theUnreal Engine 4.27, Vivox And Wwisewhile updates will add again Predatorsfirst in winter 2024 then in spring 2025.
Before that, starting next April, patch 2.49 will be released to improve player movements and the interface and balance weapons. As a reminder, since Predator: Hunting Grounds, IllFonic has exited Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed and will launch Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game next June.
