Each of these actions must be carried out in full awareness and without haste. To optimize comfort during the night, pregnant women should also choose a firm mattress and avoid sleeping on their stomach. Indeed, this position involves pressure from the baby’s weight on the blood vessels, as well as tension in the neck and back. It is best to sleep on your side, taking care to position a pillow between your legs. It is also possible to sleep on your back with a pillow under your knees.
