Pregnant, she keeps throwing up, her neighbor gets angry at the noise

On Reddit, a young woman recounted having faced complaints from her neighbor because of her “vomiting noises.” Pregnant, she suffers from nausea of pregnancy.

We thought we had seen it all. We were wrong. Sure Reddit, a young woman explained that she was pregnant and suffered from severe nausea during pregnancy. But now, she lives in a poorly soundproofed apartment (as often in large cities) and her “vomiting noises” disturb her neighbor.

The mother-to-be says in fact that the latter came to ask him to cover the noise of his vomiting. A gesture that surprised her a lot, especially since she cannot control her nausea. “There are days when I throw up several times. My neighbor came knocking on my door and told me that she could hear my ‘loud vomiting’ all the time, and that she has a vomit reflex when she hears people vomiting. She said she almost threw up when she heard me. She asked me if I could turn on the water, put on some music or turn on the fan in my bathroom before I vomited ”, she writes.

The young woman had to tell him that she was pregnant, even though she had not yet informed her relatives. “It looked like she was implying that I was making myself vomit on purpose so I had to explain it to her.” I told her that I was sorry to bother her, that I was having nausea from the pregnancy, and that I would try to turn on the ventilator before I vomited. I also told her that nausea can happen quickly, so I couldn’t promise her anything. She didn’t look happy but she said ‘okay’ and she left ”, she adds.

The story could have ended there but the neighbor decided to add a layer. And this, despite the efforts of the mother-to-be to be silent. “She came back knocking on my door and told me that she had heard me again and that she would speak to the owner if it didn’t stop. I was exhausted and annoyed, so I said ‘ok, very good’, and I closed the door “, she says.

A grotesque situation for many Internet users, but quite stressful for this young woman. Fortunately, she received many messages of support in the comments. What will happen when her baby cries in the middle of the night?
