Preorder Apple iPhone SE (2022): Deals and bundles
From the iPad Air to Mac Studio: The past Apple keynote offered many innovations, including the long-awaited new edition of the iPhone SE. In the following, the editors show the first offers from providers and major retailers from whom the iPhone SE (2022) can be pre-ordered.
Telekom, Vodafone, O2: iPhone SE with a contract
Unlike the iPhone 13, for which the providers had placed product pages very early on, they were noticeably more cautious with the iPhone SE (2022). Telekom was the first to start, the others only reacted after the pre-order phase had officially started. At Telekom, you pay a one-time fee of 1 euro for the Apple smartphone if you book it with the MagentaMobil S tariff (6 GB data volume, all-network flat rate). There is a monthly fee of 59.95 euros. Vodafone is putting together an offer that is very similar in price: 1 euro for the new iPhone SE, 59.99 euros per month for the Red S tariff (10 GB, all-net flat rate). O2 is traditionally cheaper. Pre-orderers can get the device with the Free M tariff (20 GB, all-network flat rate) for a one-time fee of EUR 1 and EUR 39.99 per month. 1&1 is already advertising the iPhone SE (2022), but a clickable offer has not yet been found (as of March 14, 5:30 p.m.).

Both Media Markt and Saturn promise a price guarantee for pre-orders, but also point out that there may be delivery problems due to increased demand. Amazon also adheres to the manufacturer’s recommendation for the prices called up and also advertises free delivery.

Alternative: iPhone 12 mini
Anyone looking for a handy iPhone is not limited to the iPhone SE. With the Mini series, the modern Apple design including Face ID is also available in a compact format. The iPhone 12 mini is a bit cheaper than the newer iPhone 13 mini (test score: 1.4) and is currently around 570 euros – little more than Apple charges for the iPhone SE (2922).
