Prepare to face the elements in Train Sim World 3

The Dovetail Games studio returns with the third installment of the franchise Train Sim World. Announced for September 6, 2022, Train Sim World 3 will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The game is already available for pre-order.

Renowned for their realistic simulation titles, Dovetail Games continues to innovate on the subject in Train Sim World 3. The game offers, for example, an all-new dynamic weather system. In addition to offering volumetric skies as well as a new lighting system to enhance immersion, the title allows you to face a number of weather conditions, sometimes extreme. It’s up to you to experience driving trains in the snow, in the middle of a storm, or worst of all, having to pay attention to the state of the tracks because of dead leaves. Although it may seem laughable, we all know how the leaves, as small as they are compared to the trains, very often cause serious problems for the drivers.

Do not panic if you are a beginner, the game offers an initiation mode as well as a Training Center. Enough to test the driving of the machines on a dedicated course to take them in hand.

For its launch, this 3rd opus will include 3 routes intended to illustrate the variety of railway operations in the world. We will thus find the Cajon pass in California where we find some of the longest trains in America, the Kassel – Würzburg route where we will focus on the German high-speed ICE trains, and finally the Southeastern Highspeed line which represents the English county of Kent between London, Ashford and Dartford. Like its predecessors, the title will be enriched with additional content thereafter.
