Presidential 2022 The list of rejections of candidates for the presidential election

It is a ranking that will undoubtedly be analyzed under the magnifying glass by the teams of the candidates for the presidential election. Our Odoxa barometer published on Tuesday reveals the list of the most rejected political figures.

Respondents had to express either support, sympathy, indifference or rejection of the names proposed to them, apart from Emmanuel Macron, the president having special treatment, the famous popularity rating, established in February in 41%.

Zemmour, the most rejected

It is the Reconquest candidate for the presidential election, Éric Zemmour, who is the most rejected political personality. 57% of those questioned expressed a rejection towards him.

It should nevertheless be noted that this rejection rating is down 4 points in one month.

Taubira and Hidalgo tied

If Florian Philippot is the second most rejected personality in our ranking, he is no longer a candidate for the presidential election.

It is therefore Anne Hidalgo and Christiane Taubira who share the 2nd place of the most rejected presidential candidates, with a rejection rating of 48%.

Mélenchon more rejected than Le Pen

LFI candidate Jean-Luc Mélenchon obtains a rejection rating of 47%, or 3 points more than Marine Le Pen (44%). He thus ranks 4th most rejected candidate, while the RN candidate ranks 5th.

Valérie Pécresse, the LR candidate, comes in 6th position, tied with Yannick Jadot, the EELV candidate, but with a much lower rejection rating, 35%, which ranks them behind certain government ministers, such as Éric Dupont-Moretti (42%) or Gerald Darmanin (40%).

Roussel’s performance

It is the communist Fabien Roussel who obtains the lowest rejection score, with 29%, with a spectacular drop of 7 points in one month. However, this survey was carried out before Mediapart’s revelations about his job as a parliamentary assistant.
