Before the 2022 presidential election, every day at 5 p.m., Monday to Friday, discover the results of our daily Ifop-Fiducial poll for Paris Match-LCI-Sud-Radio.

On September 23, Jean-Luc Mélenchon and Eric Zemmour debated on BFMTV. An unprecedented verbal contest which had, it seems, initially served the political interests of the polemicist who was not yet a candidate for the presidential election. A little less than four months later, we find the two men neck and neck but in reverse dynamics. Driven by his immersive and olfactory meeting in Nantes, the leader of rebellious France reached 10% (+1) in the #LaPrésidentielleEnTempsRéel Ifop-Fiducial survey for Paris Match. Jean-Luc Mélenchon widens the gap on all the other left-wing candidates surveyed: Yannick Jadot (5.5%, =), Christiane Taubira (4%, =) and Anne Hidalgo (3%, =). The fourth man in the 2017 presidential election – he had collected more than 19.5% of the votes cast – is now on the heels of Eric Zemmour.

The top three in our presidential poll remain stable

The latter falls again in our survey, losing 1 more point (11.5%, -1). Some 73% of respondents saying they want to vote in favor say they are sure of their choice, against 53% for Valérie Pécresse, but 80% for Emmanuel Macron and even 82% for Marine Le Pen. The top three in our presidential poll remain stable, with Emmanuel Macron at 24.5% and winner of the two second rounds proposed by Ifop, against Marine Le Pen (54.5-45.5%) and against Valérie Pécresse ( 53-47%), even if the gap is narrowing against the president of the National Rally.
