Presidential: Macron consolidates his advantage in the second round, according to a poll


Emmanuel Macron, at the top of the voting intentions in the first round, is given as a winner in all configurations in the second round of the presidential election, accentuating his advantage against Valérie Pécresse like Eric Zemmour, according to the OpinionWay – Kéa Partners barometer for Les Echos and Radio classic released Thursday.

Marine Le Pen at 16%

In the first round, the head of state, still not declared, is credited with 24% of voting intentions (stable compared to last week), ahead of Marine Le Pen at 16% (+1 point in one week) , Valérie Pécresse (14%, -1 point) and Eric Zemmour (14%, -1 point), the three being included in the same margin of error which can let them hope to qualify for the second round.

On the left, Jean-Luc Mélenchon (11%, stable) is racing in the lead, ahead of Yannick Jadot (5%, stable), Christiane Taubira (3%, stable) and Anne Hidalgo (2%, -1 point).

In the second round, Emmanuel Macron collects 56% of voting intentions against Marine Le Pen (44%, stable), an identical score in the event of the Macron-Pécresse duel, a configuration in which the President of the Republic gains two points per compared to last week.

61% of voting intentions for Macron against Zemmour

Faced with Eric Zemmour, Emmanuel Macron collects 61% of voting intentions (+2 points in his favor). Voting intentions do not constitute a forecast of the outcome of the vote. They give an indication of the balance of power and dynamics on the day of the survey.

Survey carried out from February 21 to 24 by self-administered online questionnaire with a sample of 1,603 people registered on the electoral lists, from a sample of 1,726 people representative of the French population aged 18 and over, according to the quota method.
