Ddifficult to conceive two more opposite projects. That of Emmanuel Macron aims to create European sovereignty, designed as a lever for French independence against the Chinese and American giants. That of Marine Le Pen focuses exclusively on national sovereignty. The RN candidate may have dismissed any reference to “Frexit”, she still calls for “a European Alliance of nations which aims to gradually replace the European Union”.
