Presidential poll: Macron always higher, Zemmour and Pécresse tied

Outgoing President Emmanuel Macron is still in full swing. It progresses by 1 point to reach 31.5% of voting intentions. Behind, Marine Le Pen, stable at 18.5%, then Eric Zemmour and Valérie Pécresse, now at the same level, at 12%.

Emmanuel Macron will have difficulty reaching the figures of the first round of General de Gaulle in 1965 and Georges Pompidou in 1969 (+ 44% of the vote) but he can dream of approaching that of François Mitterrand in 1988. The socialist had then collected 34.10% of the vote in the first round to be re-elected against Jacques Chirac in the second.

Another time, another more fragmented political landscape but an incumbent president very much in the lead in our last Ifop-Fiducial real-time presidential poll for Paris Match, LCI and Sud Radio. Better still, the Head of State has been in full swing since the announcement of his candidacy last Friday. He gains another 1 point to reach 31.5% of voting intentions in the first round. He now has a 13-point lead over his main rival, the candidate of the National Rally stable at 18.5%.

Marine Le Pen solid second

Marine Le Pen was not shaken by the war in Ukraine. Better, it further accentuates its lead over Eric Zemmour, which falls to 12% (-0.5). Before their debate on Thursday evening on TF1, the former journalist from “Figaro” is at the same level as Valérie Pécresse, stable at 12%. On the left, Jean-Luc Mélenchon remains the main force but lost 0.5 points on Wednesday (11%). Yannick Jadot is stable at 5.5%.
