Xavier Bertrand was the guest of Europe 1 this Tuesday morning. At the microphone of Sonia Mabrouk, the LR president of the Hauts-de-France region affirmed that the next five-year term should be “that of the middle classes”. For him, only Valérie Pécresse offers concrete solutions to this segment of the population.

INTERVIEW

Valérie Pécresse is the candidate of the middle classes. At least that’s what Xavier Bertrand says. Invited to the microphone of Sonia Mabrouk this Tuesday morning on Europe 1, the president LR of Hauts-de-France estimated that the quinquennium which was going to open should be “that of the middle classes”. And, for him, only the candidate of the right offers concrete solutions to this segment of the population.

Leaving 35 hours and redemption of RTTs

“On work, on being able to exceed or even get out of 35 hours, to be able to buy back your RTT … What Valérie Pécresse offers are solutions for the middle classes”, supports Xavier Bertrand for whom the classes averages have been neglected since the election of Emmanuel Macron. “They have lost hope”, he laments on Europe 1. The president of the Hauts-de-France region assures that the right “wants to restore their confidence”.

Pécresse, a woman of “order and authority”

For Xavier Bertrand, if Valérie Pécresse is “the candidate of all French people”, she will give “priority” to the middle classes. “Valérie Pécresse is a woman of order and authority,” he adds. “But she is also a woman who wants to restore hope”. President LR Hauts-de-France is sounding the alarm: a second five-year term for Emmanuel Macron would be catastrophic for France. “Our country has been experiencing unparalleled disorder for five years, nothing is held. In terms of security, nothing has been done,” he denounces. “It’s an unprecedented failure.”

“If we want things to change in terms of security, we have to change the president and we have to choose Valérie Pécresse”, he concludes.
