In “Culture Médias” on Monday, the creator and director of Shauna Events, the most powerful influencer agency in France, Magali Berdah, returned to her new niche: political interviews. Since January 23, she has hosted videos with presidential candidates to make Internet users want to discover them a little more.

As the presidential election takes place in less than two months, the creator and director of Shauna Events, the most powerful influencer agency in France, Magali Berdah, has launched a special format: the political interview. A niche where we did not expect the “popess of reality TV”, who published a first video with Eric Zemmour on January 23, already viewed more than 550,000 times. The second was put online on Saturday and this time concerns the candidate of La France insoumise Jean-Luc Mélenchon.

Guest of Philippe Vandel in Culture Media Monday, Magali Berdah returned to the principle of this program. “The principle is to meet presidential candidates and break the codes a bit, to get out of my comfort zone. I like to learn, I’m like that. So the goal was to discover them for 24 hours” , she explained. In particular, she admitted that she knew nothing about politics. “I didn’t like it at all, I found it boring, boring, and like many people, I had an image of politicians as bad people. Because we demonize them a lot.”

Candidates who must be understood by all

She also explained that she realized that she wanted to do something “good” with her social networks. “I thought that in addition to business, we could do something else with it,” she continued before specifying who her videos are for. “It’s for all the people like me who don’t understand politics and who don’t vote. I don’t pretend to say that I’m a political journalist, but I may be able to introduce the candidates so that we want to discover them. And it’s a bit of a challenge that I give them.”

Magali Berdah said she did not prepare the interviews so as not to be “influenced by the political media”. I don’t understand their articles, it’s a very particular language code that is made for some people, but not made for others. And I am one of those others who do not understand and I want to say that presidential candidates must have a talent, it is to be understood and heard by all. And they have to adapt to us being president of everyone and not of a certain elite.”
